JinkoSolar Was Selected as The Main Supplier of Petrochemical Giant Sinopec for its Green Hydrogen Production

(the "Company," or "JinkoSolar") (NYSE: JKS), one of the largest and most innovative solar module manufacturers in the world, announced that JinkoSolar and Chinese oil major Sinopec Group have closed a large panel supply deal for green hydrogen projects using solar energy. The generated electricity of JinkoSolar’s high efficiency solar panels shall power the electrolyser to produce hydrogen for further processing. The hydrogen produced is slated to meet the needs of the biofuel production process at Sinopec’s biorefinery, averting thousands of tons of CO2 emissions per year. This landmark agreement between JinkoSolar and Sinopec Group for green hydrogen, leverages a combination of competence and technology - offering low-cost solar power generation to foster efficient hydrogen production.
